Mining engineering is a branch of engineering that focuses on exploring the possibilities of mineral extraction from the earth's crust. To extract minerals safely and sustainably for the environment, mining engineers employ their expertise in geology, physics, and mathematics. Distance BTech Mining Engineering is a UG degree-level program. The duration of the course is 4 years. It consists of 08 semesters.
The course is aimed to teach students to acquire skills to alleviate the resultant damage of mining by learning efficient mining practices. The specialists holding this course are offered multiple jobs in the mining industry, processing, locomotive platform, capital, and mining equipment. The B Tech in Mining is an undergraduate curriculum.
Distance B.E./B.Tech in mining engineering may be an appropriate option for those who fit certain requirements and have special preferences. People who might think about obtaining a distant B.E./B.Tech in mining engineering include the following:
Distance learning enables people currently employed in the mining industry or related sectors to advance their knowledge and abilities without taking time away from their careers. Professionals that desire to enhance their careers or specialize in a particular area of mining engineering would particularly benefit from this.
Individuals can choose distance learning to further their education if they have a strong interest in mining engineering but are constrained by job or other obligations.
If a student wanted to enter the area of mining engineering but was unable to complete a traditional B.E./B.Tech degree after high school, online learning could offer them a flexible route to do so.
can benefit from distant learning, which enables them to study from any location with an internet connection, especially those who reside in locations with restricted access to on-campus mining engineering education.
Successful distance learning necessitates self-control and the drive to pursue academic independence. Students that have a strong dedication to studying and can manage their time well may do well in this style.
If someone is thinking about switching from another profession to mining engineering, remote learning can be a method to get the necessary credentials while juggling other obligations.
Students on a budget will find distance education programs to be sometimes more affordable than conventional on-campus ones, making them a desirable option.
People who have personal or family commitments, such as taking care of young children or elderly relatives, may find the flexibility of distance learning more suited to their needs.
This is a question concerning, almost, every individual who wants to pursue B. Tech through distance education. To be very clear regarding this matter “Distance B. Tech is not valid”. MHRD & Joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC issued notices dated 29-07-2009 and 13-08-2009 respectively, declaring Distance B. Tech invalid. Although AICTE has come up with an alternative solution i.e., delivering Regular B. Tech through Work-integrated learning programs/ part-time mode/ online mode. There are many UGC-AICTE approved universities in India offering alternatives for B. TECH DISTANCE EDUCATION courses.
Candidates must have finished their 10+2 education from a recognized board in the science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). They have to have a minimum 10+2 grade point average of 50%.
